Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through alxdoesdigital.com and when you contact Alex Does Digital about marketing services. It does not govern third-party websites or services linked from this website.

Information collected

Information may be collected in the following ways:

• Information you provide. When you submit a website form, email, call, or schedule a meeting, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, website, business name, business goals or challenges, company information, project details, and anything else you choose to share.
• Technical information. The website or its hosting provider may automatically receive information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit.
• Service information. If you become a client, information needed to provide and manage services may be collected, including campaign, account, billing, and business contact information.

Google user data and Google Ads API

Alex Does Digital uses Google OAuth 2.0 and the Google Ads API to let a user authorize access to Google Ads accounts that the user owns or is permitted to manage. Access is not obtained until the user completes Google’s consent flow. The Google Ads authorization scope is https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords.

Data accessed

Depending on the services requested and the permissions available in the connected account, Google user data may include Google Ads customer and manager account identifiers, account structure, campaigns, ad groups, ads, assets, keywords, audiences, budgets, bidding and conversion settings, recommendations, change history, and advertising performance and reporting metrics. OAuth access and refresh tokens are also processed to maintain the authorized connection. If basic Google profile information is requested during the connection flow, it is used only to identify and support the authorized account connection.

How Google user data is used

Google user data is used only to provide the Google Ads management and reporting functions requested by the user or client. This may include reading performance data; creating, editing, pausing, or removing campaigns and related resources; applying approved budgets, bids, targeting, ads, and conversion settings; generating reports and recommendations; and troubleshooting or supporting the connected account. Alex Does Digital does not use Google user data for unrelated advertising, profiling, or data-broker purposes.

Storage, sharing, and human access

OAuth tokens and Google Ads data are retained only for as long as needed to provide the authorized service, maintain required business records, resolve security issues, or comply with law. Access is limited to authorized personnel and service providers that need the data to operate, secure, or support the service. Google user data is not sold. It is not shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the requested service, with the user’s direction or consent, for security purposes, or when required by law.

Personnel may access Google user data only when necessary to provide user-requested support, investigate abuse or a security incident, comply with applicable law, or perform internal operations directly related to delivering the authorized features.

Limited Use disclosure

Alex Does Digital’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access and deleting data

You can revoke the connection at any time from your Google Account connections. Revocation prevents future API access but does not automatically delete data already retained by Alex Does Digital. To request deletion of stored Google user data, email alex@alexdoesdigital.com with the subject “Google data deletion request.” After identity and authority are verified, data associated with the disconnected account will be deleted or anonymized within 30 days, unless retention is required by law, needed to prevent fraud or abuse, or necessary to establish or defend legal claims. Residual encrypted backup copies may remain until they are overwritten in the ordinary backup cycle.

Retention and security

Information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including legal, accounting, and business requirements. Reasonable safeguards are used to protect personal information, but no online system or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of certain information. You may also object to or withdraw consent for some processing.

Children’s privacy
